Michael P. Heneghan has been with the firm since 1979, and was named a partner in 1982. Mr. Heneghan specializes in corporate and individual taxation with an emphasis on family taxes and planning. Early in the 1980's, Mr. Heneghan developed the firm's litigation support services group, which provides business valuation services as well as analysis of evidence with respect to lawsuits. He writes periodically for the Chicago Sun-Times on matters of personal finance and taxation. Mr. Heneghan holds a bachelor's degree from Loyola University and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University Law School. He is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
